Lowry Dog Park Obtains Approval
People (and dogs) in Lowry are thrilled to hear that the Lowry Redevelopment Authority (LRA) obtained positive feedback as well as approval of concept plan documents from the local Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD) for the Lowry Dog Park. This approval is a big step and provides the necessary impetus for the LRA to take care of the remaining issues in finalizing construction documents and getting final approval from stakeholder agencies to start building the planned Dog Park. Even as the LRA strives to complete construction documents and begin building the Dog Park in 2009, the time-consuming design approval process has held back the work and the Park may not be finished until 2010.
