Looking for land for sale Leadville CO? Look no further. When I started looking on the Internet for properties in Twin Lakes/Leadville area, I emailed two realtors. The first never responded and two days later, I found that the property has been removed from the listing. The second gave me a runaround to someone else. No response from there either.
Then I emailed Craig Reynolds about a property at Beaver Lakes. He responded within hours and next Friday we met to look at several lots. Craig was very knowledgeable of the area and its history and aware of the pros and cons of buying at each subdivision. Unlike realtors from other counties, he knew what the actual market values were and most of the properties he showed were a good deal from investment perspective as well as great building sites.
One of the properties he pointed out was a really nice treed lot with a gorgeous view on La Plata Peak Dr. It was listed for $7,500 below the assessor's values while every lot nearby was priced at least $2,000 over the assessor's value. Next week, we went back to Twin Lakes with my wife to see that property and a few others. Before the end of the day we decided to submit an offer for the lot on La Plata Peak Dr.
Craig handled everything very professionally and made it fairly easy for me to acquire the lot for my dream home. He provided all the referrals I needed to secure a loan and get a contractor inspection.
