I'm Dan Houtchens and I have lived in Leadville over 11 years. I have a Ph.D in Sport Management and Exercise Science and am active in hiking, biking, nordic skiing, sailing, downhill skiing, snowmobiling, atving on a daily basis. Lake County and Leadville are my chosen area because of the amazing recreational and healthy opportunities. There's also kayaking, canoeing, rafting, and of course powder skiing and snow boarding the list goes on. I am a retired professor, and now I am pursuing a career in the field of real estate, I can help if you want to find a fixer upper all the way up to a move-in ready retreat - to live full-time or have as a second home.
